Cleveland, OH (June 10, 2014) – Ingenuity is seeking to establish a coalition of passionate individuals looking to make a difference in the City of Cleveland. Individuals can have any background and should have an interest in fostering creativity and innovation in Northeast Ohio. To apply please send a résumé and a paragraph on why you want to be a part of Ingenuity’s new coalition to Annie Weiss at annie@ingenuitycleveland.org by Friday, June 20, 2014.

This group of volunteer city activists will be involved in the promotion of Ingenuity’s year-round programming such as the Cleveland Mini Maker Faire, Bal Ingénieux, and IngenuityFest. They will also work to host a fundraising event in the summer. Applicants who are accepted will meet a broad range of exciting people and get real world event experience to add to their résumés.

“We all know Cleveland is a great city with world-class institutions. But if we expect to see any change in the way we’re viewed – as a city that had a river burn up in flames forty-five years ago – we have to invest in ourselves. Investing in Ingenuity is just that, and we need the help of like-minded professionals to spread that message and raise awareness,” says Ingenuity Marketing Coordinator, Annie Weiss.
