STAGE SCHEDULES ARE UP!

With just shy of 100 scheduled stage slots, IngenuityFest 2018: FuturePast, has SO much to offer in terms of performing arts. From headliners OSHUN (the sonic embodiment of Afrofutursim) and Dressy Bessy (Long-running punk pop rock band out of Denver) to our Pittsburgh-based friends and neighbors Squonk, who will bring us Pneumatica, a large-scale circus-opera brought to life with wind, air, and kinetic energy.

But did you know we’ll also have jazz, classical piano, poetry and spoken word, as well as a  *record number* of dance groups coming to the event, activating our first-ever multiplatform, multimedia dance stage (the Tesseract Stage), plus our beloved Ingenuity Cabaret!

The different art forms and apparatus we have represented span from belly dance to pole to silks and lyra to wall-dancing in rock climbing rigging to the flow arts (hoops and tons of other props) to African dance, modern/contemporary, ballet, burlesque, swing, b-boy/hip hop and more! Whew!

Top it all off with an assortment of the best Cleveland has to offer from local indie punk bands, singer-songwriters, multimedia performance groups, nightly DJ dance parties, and even a few pop-up renegade performances.
