The annual Ingenuity Bal is a slightly off-kilter gala unlike anything else in town, supporting Ingenuity’s year-round programming! Once known as the Bal Ingenieux, the event pays homage to Cleveland’s exclusive arts club that dominated modernist arts in the city from the 1910s until the 1940s. The Kokoon Club’s annual “Bal Masque” challenged artistic norms with the most unconventional parties around.

In 2026, Ingenuity Cleveland is celebrating its 21st full season of programming with a return to Cleveland’s rich industrial history that brought us to life! Ingenuity is proud to call Saint Clair Superior and Cleveland’s East side home, areas known for their vibrant history of manufacturing and building our city as we know it today. IngenuityLabs, Ingenuity’s year-round home and incubator space is situated in the former Osborn Manufacturing building, breathing new light, life and creativity into one of Cleveland’s many former bustling industrial sites.
