The NEO Makers and Innovators network arose with a series of meetings and early conversations among Cleveland partners in response to the first ever White House Maker Faire and National Day of Making. Individuals and institutions, large and small, throughout NEO quickly organized and collaborated to highlight the region's efforts on a national stage.

To date, we have hosted Maker events and conferences, welcoming the likes of Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame and Andrew Coy, White House Senior Advisor on Making.

An additional goal identified has been the creation of a searchable, cross-referenced resource for the sharing of ideas and excess capacities.

You can learn more about foundational meetings here, join the database below, or find us on Facebook, where we're able to keep the discussion rolling!

Pilot partners include the Great Lakes Science Center, Cleveland Public Library, Case Western Reserve University and the Sears think[box], and many others!
