Ingenuity’s 5th Annual Bal Ingénieux Set for June 4th at Tenk Building

Cleveland, OH (April 6, 2016) – Get your costumes ready! Ingenuity is hosting their fifth annual Bal Ingénieux June 4. This year’s Bal will transform the historic Tenk Building in the Flats’ West Bank in the tradition of the spirited Kokoon Arts Club Parties of the early 20th century that celebrated Cleveland’s entire creative class.

This unforgettable night will raise funds for IngenuityFest, an annual celebration of art and technology, industry and entrepreneurship, marking 12 years in 2016.

As part of its overall mission to highlight Cleveland’s innovation landscape, Ingenuity has partnered with the Tenk West Bank. This development organization is focused on transforming the former industrial foundry housing Tenk Machining Company into a retail, manufacturing and office collective serving the growing Flats neighborhood. Ingenuity will also be announcing an inaugural award for a local person or group with outstanding service to the creative community.

Bal Ingénieux guests will step into an other-worldly experience, discovering an enchanted forest filled with performers, installations, and plenty of other surprises.

While costumes are not required, you’ll definitely have a lot more fun if you wear one. Get inspired by your own interpretation of “enchantment” or come down to one of Ingenuity’s costume workshops throughout the month of May (details to be released soon). Ingenuity encourages all its attendees to try up-cycling when creating their costumes, be they butterflies, flowers, fairies or something else entirely!
