Happy "What to Wear Wednesday"! Are you planning to don your aeronautical best at the Ingenuity Bal: Flights of Fancy? Here are some ideas to help inspire your ensemble!

Did you know... Amelia Earhart had her own clothing line! In 1933 she launched "Amelia Fashions", consisting of wrinkle-free dresses, skirts, pants, and outerwear. Many of the designs incorporated aviation materials, such as buttons and buckles made of ball bearings, oil cups, and bolts. Some designs even used materials such as parachute silk and fabric used for airplane wings!

We are so excited to start a new series highlighting some of the incredible Ingeneers and IngenuityLabs members who help us ignite the creative spark year-round!

Get to know Ingeneer, Jeremy Waters @jblakeinc!

Jeremy has been a part of the Ingeneers since last year when he met fellow Ingeneer and IngenuityLabs member Ross at Brite Winter (at the Lighthouse). Jeremy`s favorite project (to-date) has been the Oodles of Noodles project for Accelerate 2024/Brite Winter 2024. His favorite aspect of Ingenuity is meeting all kinds of interesting creative types, both artists and engineers alike, and working together to make cool stuff that all the lovely people of this city can enjoy! Although he doesn`t officially have a catchphrase- we all think "let`s get it done!" suits him perfectly! Thank you Jeremy, we are so excited to have you with us!

Random Jeremy fact: Jeremy has made all sorts of wild and interesting things with and for all sorts of people, but some of his favorite things he made were "worn" by robots.

Stay tuned to see who will be featured next!
