What else are we up to on the lake?

Plenty! We're working as invested stakeholder on the upcoming Metroparks-led CHEERS initiative to Embrace the Lake, working alongside our partners on a July 24th Common Ground conversation, hosting neighborhood conversations at Neighbor Nights with Famicos Foundation, looking for ways on bringing attention to Safe Routes to Parks alongside Bike Cleveland and Saint Clair Superior Development, and so much more. Most of these efforts are centered on bringing our neighborhood to the waterfront, but of course it's all about network-building and drawing connections - so there's plenty at play throughout the neighborhood! Want to learn more? Check us out at Third Thursday Ignite! Neighbor Nights (also on Facebook), visit CHEERS online, or check out any of these events below to join Ingenuity in Diving In to Neighborhood Fun in the Sun!

Supported by the national Safe Routes Partnership, Bike Cleveland is working with the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metroparks, St. Clair Superior Development Corporation, Famicos Foundation, the Kent State Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative, Ingenuity Cleveland and other stakeholders to achieve safe and equitable access to the lakefront along East 55th and East 72nd Streets. For further info, visit
The Cleveland Harbor Eastern Embayment Resilience Study outlines a plan for additional parkland and habitat along Cleveland’s Lake Erie shoreline in proximity to the St. Clair-Superior and Glenville neighborhoods. CHEERS illustrates the importance of investing in coastal resilience measures to improve communities, working with residents and stakeholders to protect critical infrastructure, stabilize habitat, expand recreation, ameliorate previous industrial uses & unjust development practices, and help current and future generations to Embrace the Lake.
All Common Ground conversations have the same goal: to create spaces where meaningful connections are made and purposeful actions begin. Common Ground events are built by community members, organizations, businesses and nonprofits that care about the future of our community and want to be a part of a forward-looking conversation.
